Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
“To adore God is to acknowledge, in respect and absolute submission, the ‘nothingness of the creature’ who would not exist but for God. To adore God is to praise and exalt him and to humble oneself, as Mary did in the Magnificat, confessing with gratitude that he has done great things and holy is his name. [Cf. Lk 1:46-49 .] The worship of the one God sets man free from turning in on himself, from the slavery of sin and the idolatry of the world.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church 2097)
Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament is one of the most powerful forms of prayer. When we adore the Blessed Sacrament, IT IS Jesus Himself we adore. The Blessed Sacrament is the Real Presence – the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ.
If each of us were to spend time in adoration of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, the world change before our very eyes. The change would begin with us who sit before His awesome presence. When we spend time with Our Lord, He changes our lives. There is no way to be with Jesus and not change. You will either change or leave Jesus.
I strongly encourage all who read this article to make the sacrifice to spend some time with Jesus. If you cannot find a church with Adoration, just sit in church before the tabernacle. Would you like to see and end to war in Iraq? Do you want to stop the proliferation of nuclear weapons in North Korea and other nations? Do you want to put a stop to the threat of terrorism in our country and around the world? Would you like to end abortion? If you answered “yes”, it is time for you to make a difference. Jesus said to His disciples, “Could you not spend one hour with me?”
Make a commitment today to spend one hour each week in Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and I promise you that your life will never be the same.
If your parish has Adoration, sign up for one hour each week. It is also very important to have people on the schedule for each hour of Adoration. Our Lord may never be left alone during Adoration.
Think of all the things that you and I ask of Our Lord. Wouldn’t it be nice to make this small sacrifice for Him!
God love you,
Fr. Finelli
here are your little stones 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. i love you.
dear Children of Heaven on the Earth,
may I,
a sister along with you
in the Heart of Christ
and His Church,
recommend to all who long for True Peace
that we rally ourselves and make a pack
to offer the Rosary
as spiritual aid
to the Troops in Iraq
and not cease to pray for them
using the Rosary
until they come home?
Let us also pray especially
that all Christians of all Confessions
in all Churches everywhere begin to Unite.
I want that.
So be it.
Let it be.
Keep persevering in the prayer of the Rosary.
I like to pray It before the Lord Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament.
Don’t let you left hand know what your right hand is doing.
Do all in secret
and Our Father in Christ will reward you.
If you speak freely of your interior motives,
I promise that Satan and His evil spirits
will pray and come out against you in efforts
to keep you
from praying your rosary
in front of the Blessed Sacrament.
Please,
let us pray for the return of the Troops out of Iraq
and the visible unity of Christians everywhere.
Thank you for consoling my heart.
-love you always
and most sincerely,
rebekah/Texas, USA
It is difficult for Me sometimes
to pray the Rosary in Its entirety,
so with your permissions
I will begin to omit the Creed
and every Gloria at the closing
of each Decade.
I have been doing this for the past
week and a half now
and My Rosary has become much easier
to pick up and pray in Its entirety.
I say these things in the event that you
might need an example to follow
to make it easier for you to just
decide to pick up your Rosary and
make time for It.
So much need for change in our lives
and in our World.
The Rosary can assist Us,
The Blessed Virgin Mary,
that is.
-love always,
and most sincerely,
rebekah/Texas,USA
It worked, dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ.!
Our Spiritual Aid to the members of the Family of God in Iraq,
Our Soldiers are coming out from the Cities in Iraq.
Maybe now they will come home for good.
Let’s keep praying the Rosary for this intention
and not stop until it is declared that they are home.
All glory to Christ
and no other
if this should really come true.
Also,
let us employ this spiritual weapon against darkness
to come up against the advance of the permissiveness
of Same-Sex Unions.
Let us pray against these Enemies of the
Kingdom of Christ.
If they succeed little by little
believe me
they have every intention of ruling the world.
this would lead to Its destruction.
Pray not only that Marriage between a Man and a Woman be upheld
but that Same-Sex Union would be denied and driven out
and extracted from the World, the Universe and the Cosmos,
which belongs to Christ by right.
So now you have been served
two portions on your Rosary Plate:
1). the return of Our Troops from Iraq
2). fight against the advance of Darkness in the movement
of Same-Sex Unions.
If you are hungry for still more,
I recommend that you pray along with Me
these days in a special way
for the rising up of the Spirit of St. Peter to the Papacy.
Why not?
These are the Last Days,
and those who were First
shall come in the Last.
That means St. Peter, who was the First Pope
should also be so in these Last Days!
He is Prince of the Apostles.
So be sure to attach to your every Rosary at the end
that powerful prayer to St. Michael, Prince of the Heavenly Host
for this particular intention
which I just mentioned:
The rising of St. Peter to the Papacy.
Anything is possible with God.
Christ is God,
and there can never be another.
Let us continue to watch what happens
as a result of our persevering in the Rosary.
Again, I recommend it’s recitation in groups
or alone before Christ in the Most Blessed Sacrament.
– most sincerely,
World+Watcher
and Friend of Humanity
